Kanye West Allegedly Will Not Release Yandhi Until He Is Set Free From His Contract!
Kanye West announced shortly after releasing Ye that he was also working on another album that would be titled Yandhi. The multi-faceted artist has pushed back the piece of work multiple times and fans are finally getting a reason why.
Just days ago it was revealed that Yeezy is suing Roc-A-Fella records and EMI regarding his record deal.
The Blast has received information about yet another suit that deals with West’s relationship with Bravado merchandising and Island Def Jam accusing them of exploiting him. In the end, Kanye wants to be free and clear of obligations that he owes to Island Def Jam due to the fact that he has been under contract with them for almost two decades!
The news breaking website published a piece that reveals what’s in the legal documents.
Part of it states: “Even if the contracts were not unfair (they are), even if their terms valued Mr. West’s contributions in line with the breathtaking success he has achieved for these companies (they do not) and even if the companies had not unpaid Mr. West what they owe him (they have), he would be entitled to be set free from its bonds.”
It goes on to say that Kim Kardashian’s husband hasn’t been able to enjoy any moments of freedom and is owed a ‘substantial amount’ of money.
The legal papers also accuse Def Jam of having ‘unjustly earned millions of dollars by binding Mr. West’s recording talents to [Island Def Jam] for an unlawful term.’
As for those waiting for Yandhi, it turns out that he is withholding the album until he is free of all dealings with the record company.
Yeezy has one other request: to have his master recordings back.

With a lawsuit this complex, fans may not get to hear Yandhi for a long while. Do you think Ye will change his mind?
