Jay-Z ends set with a moving tribute to Linkin Park's Chester Bennington

Jay-Z walks on to the stage, decorated with just lights and a Jeff Koons inflatable dog. This perfectly fits Jay-Z’s humour as he once rapped about “Jeff Koons’ dog.” Jay-Z continued to play his set and revealed that it was the first time he was playing new material.

The set later turned towards his greatest hits which left fans amazed by his performance. Jay-Z always challenges himself and after this performance, he kept his throne as one of the greatest Rap artists!

To top it all off, Jay-Z provided one of the most moving tributes to Chester Bennington. Jay-Z won Best Rap/Sung Collaboration after working with Bennington in 2006. He performed on the first day of V Festival 2017. The rapper ended his set with Encore in remembrance of the late Linkin Park singer. Jay-Z said, ‘Make some noise he’ll hear us from heaven.’

His touching tribute brought emotion and praise for the singer. Fans showed their delight by a mass sing-along. It comes just one month after the 41-year-old rocker’s shocking suicide, that has left fans and fellow artists saddened and broken.
