Blake Shelton Reveals That The Greatest Part Of Being On The Voice Was Meeting Gwen Stef

Blake Shelton has been on The Voice for no less than a full decade and so, he must have a lot of great memories from the show. However, it turns out that after all this time, he still believes meeting his significant other, Gwen Stefani, is the best part of the job!

Fans know all too well that this famous couple met on the singing competition in 2014 and a year later, when both had divorced their spouses, the country crooner and the singer fell in love.

Since both of them had just had the same experience, going through heartbreak and divorce, Gwen and Blake really connected on a deeper level.

Meanwhile, Blake was part of the show since its very first season in 2011 and so, on the special 10-year anniversary episode, Blake opened up about meeting his partner at work, making it very clear that it’s the ‘greatest thing’ that’s happened to him in the last decade.

‘People ask me all the time, ‘What is the greatest thing that has happened to you since you have been on The Voice?’ That is a no brainer, right? I met my fiancee here!’ Blake gushed.

He went on to admit that ‘If you told me in 1996 that Gwen Stefani was going to be my girlfriend, I would’ve laughed you out of the room. I would’ve thought you were crazy. Saying it now, I almost bust out laughing, that is how ridiculous it is.’

Obviously, the country singer still can’t believe he’s dating Gwen Stefani and that is really sweet!

He also explained why he loves it so much when she’s on The Voice as well, saying that ‘She brings a really complicated element of competition for me in particular. But I love that. I love the challenge. Knowing that she is there and she has my back is pretty cool.’
